Objective Premise Element

the part of a story's essential meaning as seen from without

Original Dramatica® Definition:

A story's premise is an argument that consists of both an objective perspective and a subjective point-of-view. The former contains the part of a story's message that is most impersonal. It tells of the outcome expected from the subjective experience, as well as indications of goals met or consequences endured.
